I remember a time when I was young and carefree and happy. I was involved in life. I had laughter, dreams and hopes. I remember when I could go to sleep and sleep all night. I remember a time before I heard voices; unrecognizable voices telling me to do things I did not understand. I remember when everything wasn’t a battle and now it’s a battle to live. I remember when I never thought about death and now that’s all I think about. I remember a time when I didn’t want to die and now I don’t want to live.
